The historical and political information was usefull because I had no idea that they translated everything in English.
ReplyDeleteIt helps us to understand the situation of the story and the mentalities of the characters. We can then understand the story in another way and more appreciate it.
ReplyDeleteIt helps understand the way they think and how they lived, because it is not the way we do. It makes it easier to understand the book.
